Greenwood, S.C. - The Bearcats dominated Emmanuel on Wednesday afternoon, winning 7-0 at home. Nick Beamish and Moaud Naoui both achieved straight sets in their Singles matches.
Markus Sorensen and Beamish teamed up in Doubles No. 1 and were pushed to a tiebreaker set. The duo would come out victorious 7-6 [7-0]. The nationally ranked Doubles pair of Hugo Regner and Matthew De Groot defeated their opponents 6-4, while Ambroise Marchand and Alex Crepy fended off Emmanuel 6-1.
Regner competed in Singles No. 1, winning 6-4, 6-3, followed by a 6-2, 7-5 victory for Marchand. De Groot earned two identical sets of 7-6 and Crepy only allowed four set points winning 6-1, 6-3. Beamish and Naoui dominated in No. 5 and 6 Singles, triumphing 6-0, 6-4 and 6-0, 6-0 respectively.
The Bearcats will take a business trip on Sunday to Augusta. Lander faces their first Peach Belt competition at 1:00 pm.
