ALBANY, Ga. - Lander held Albany State to just one shot Saturday afternoon as the Bearcats shutout the Rams 2-0 in Peach Belt Conference action.
Lander had a balanced attack throughout the game, registering 15 shots in each half. In the 14th minute, freshman Rylee King connected for her first career goal to give Lander the 1-0 lead. Ten minutes later, Mary Moosbrugger scored to extend the lead to two goals. That would be all the Bearcats would need as they took the 2-0 win.
