Bearcats and Sandsharks end in 1-1 draw

GREENWOOD, S.C. - Sille Hansen's goal in the 83rd minute tied the score at one as the Bearcats battled to a 1-1 draw with USC Beaufort Saturday afternoon.

Despite outshooting the Sandsharks 11-3 in the first half, Lander could not find the back of the net, and the score was 0-0 at the half.

In the 70th minute, Synne Bye-Anderson scored for USC Beaufort to give them the lead. As the clock wound down, the ball would rattle around in front of the goal, and Hansen would knock it to tie the game up. Neither team could score over the final seven minutes, and the game ended in a draw.
