GREENWOOD - Lander and USC Aiken battled to a 1-1 draw in the team's cPrimary Imageonference opening match Saturday afternoon.
The Pacers took the lead on a goal from Shiloh Pirro in the fifth minute. Eight minutes later, The Bearcats took advantage of a Pacer misplay to tie the game at one on an own goal.
Lander outshot the Pacers 14-5 and 5-3 in shots on goal.
Taylor Frew made two saves in goal for the Bearcats.
