ST. SIMONS, Ga. - Lander shot a 318 in the first round of the Peach Belt Conference Championship and is tied for second, with Columbus State heading into the second round.  

First Team All-Conference selection Hannah Stephenson shot a 76 and is currently tied for second, just two shots out of first, to lead the Bearcats. Ella Nilsson is two shots behind her teammate and tied for fourth with a 78, and Gracie McCoy is in a tie for tenth after shooting an 81 in the first round. Caroline Hardy shot an 83 and is tied for 17th, while Emily Beiers shot 88 and is tied for 21st. 

Lander will tee off in the second round of the Championship tomorrow morning.
