Lander falls to North Georgia in conference opener

GREENWOOD - North Georgia defeated Lander 5-2 Saturday afternoon in the Bearcats Peach Belt opener. 

Thomas De Negri and Alexandre Crepy won their double's match 7-6 (7-5), but the Nighthawks took the double's point with wins at number one and number two. Hugo Regner won his number three singles match 7-6 and 6-1, and Nicolas Chan won his match 7-6, 6-2 to give Lander their two points.  

The Bearcats wrap up their Georgia trip at Young Harris tomorrow at 1:00 PM.
