Greenwood, S.C. - Women's tennis looks to keep the upward trend on Thursday against the University of Illinois Springfield at home. The Bearcats are coming off a 1-1 week at the UTSA campus in Orlando, Fla. during Spring Break. 

STORYLINES 

• Lander is currently 9-3 this season, undefeated at Joe Cabri Tennis Center. 

• The Bearcats were ranked the 50th best Division II team in the nation by ITA last week. 

• The doubles duo of Emily Ineson and Mille Elsborg were ranked the 37th best Doubles team in the nation by ITA as well. 

• This will be the first match between the two schools, as the Prairie Stars travel to Greenwood. 

• UIS competes in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, they're currently 4-4 on the season.
