Greenwood, S.C. - The Bearcats hosted their first home game this spring against Lees-McRae earning a 7-0 victory.
The dominance continued in Singles play as every Bearcat won their match. No. 1 Singles was played by Gerbino who won 6-0, 6-1, while No. 2 Singles' Maranda Adair secured 6-1, 6-4 wins. Elsborg competed in No. 3 Singles winning 6-0, 6-1, and Raquel Acco followed up in No. 4 Singles winning 6-2, 6-1. No. 5 Singles' Armani was pushed to a tiebreaker set after falling in the first set scoring 3-6, 6-1 [10-5]. Ineson ended the day posting 6-3, 6-1 victories in No. 6 Singles.
Women's tennis doesn't take the court again until next Thursday, Feb. 17 at Converse.
