Spartanburg, S.C.- Women's tennis took care of business with a 7-0 victory against Converse on Thursday. This makes three straight wins for Lander.
The Bearcats won all three doubles matches to take the doubles point. The duo of

Mille Elsborg won 6-3, whileÂ
Hannah Panchal and Maranda Adair won 6-4.
Chiara Gerbino and
Roberta Armani defeated Converse's No. 3 Doubles in a straight set of 6-0.
No. 1 Singles was handled by Gerbino, who defeated her opponent 6-1, 7-5, followed by Adair's No. 2 Singles performance of 6-3, 6-0. Elsborg took No. 3 Singles at 6-2, 6-0, and
Raquel Acco was taken to three sets in No. 4 Singles winning 6-2, 1-6, 6-1. Ineson defeated her challenger 7-5, 6-0 in No. 5 Singles, while
Shea Connelly sealed the deal in No. 7 Singles winning 6-4, 7-5.
The Bearcats travel to Newberry on Saturday Feb. 19. This will be the second meeting this season between the two, as Lander suffered a 0-4 loss during the City of Florence Invitational on Feb. 6.
