GREENWOOD – The Lander baseball team fell 11-0 at Dolny Stadium Tuesday evening.
Lander drops to 1-2 on the season while North Greenville moves to 3-1.
The Crusaders got out to an early 3-0 advantage in the first, but the Bearcats would hunker down and keep the Crusaders off the scoreboard till the fifth inning.
North Greenville would score again in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings.
Lander was held hitless until Walker McDowell came off the bench and singled to left field in the sixth inning.
Bennett Nance got the start and was awarded the loss.
Lander and North Greenville battle once more on February 11 for a 6 pm start.
