Franklin Springs, Ga. - The Bearcats increased their overall record to 5-1 against Emmanuel on Thursday after a 5-2 victory.
Doubles No. 1 and Doubles No. 3 came out on top to earn the doubles point. Emily Ineson and Mille Elsborg paired up to win 6-4, while Chiara Gerbino and Roberta Armani recorded the same score in their match.
Maranda Adair secured a point in No. 2 Singles in three sets 5-7, 6-3, 6-3. Elsborg followed up in No. 3 Singles recording two 6-1 sets. Ineson was pushed to a tiebreaker, eventually outlasting her opponent 7-5, 7-6 [7-4]. The fifth point was contributed by Hannah Panchal after two sets of 6-3 scores.
Women's tennis is back in action at home on Saturday Feb. 26th starting at 11 a.m. against Erskine.
