St. Augustine, Fla. - Lander women's golf finished Spring Kick-Off in third after a team score of 311 for the third round. The Bearcats finished the tournament with a final score of 949 (322+316+311).  

Limestone came out on top with 897 points and three top-three golfers. Wingate followed with a team score of 931. All teams finished up round two before starting the third and final round on Tuesday, after darkness suspended play on Monday.  

The Bearcats had five golfers in the top 25 of the Spring Kick-Off. Hannah Stephenson led the charge with a top-10 finish coming in a seventh-place tie shooting 15-over-par. Emily Beiers competed as an individual and shot 16-over-par for a 10th place tie.  

Ella Nilsson tied for 21st along with teammate Caroline Hardee. They both shot 25-over-par. Gracie McCoy tied for 25th shooting 26-over-par, and Alayna Fortenberry shot 33-over-par to take a 41st place tie. 

The Bearcats will not be in competition next week, but will travel to Mt. Pleasant, S.C. on Feb. 28th-Mar. 1st  for the Low Tide Intercollegiate hosted by Limestone.
