ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The No. 12 Lander men's soccer fell in the 81st minute to the Flagler Saints in the final road regular season game of the season.'
Lander falls to 9-3-4 overall and 8-1-2 in the PBC while Flagler moves to 9-3-3 overall and 8-2-2 in the PBC.
Neither team was able to score any goals in the first frame of play.
Lander was able to put 6-of-10 shots on goal against Flagler while the Saints put 3-of-4 shots on target against Lander.
Lorenzo Ferrari made two saves in the loss and moves to 6-1-2 on the season.
With the loss, Lander and Flagler are now tied for first place in the PBC with 26 points. Lander can take sole possession of first place with a win or tie against Clayton State on Monday, October 22.
Lander and Clayton State originally were slated to play on October 12, but weather caused the contest to be halted with 24:09 remaining in the second half.
