Greenwood, S.C. - The Bearcats will travel to Florence, S.C. to compete in the Fall Peach Belt Tournament for eSports. Both Valorant and Rocket League gamers from the PBC will face-off on Oct. 21-22. 

The format in Rocket League includes eight teams and will be a double elimination bracket. The Valorant bracket is also double elimination and includes six teams. The two highest seeds from Valorant gaming will get a first-round bye.  

Lander is the number three seed in Rocket League and is set to compete against Montevallo on Friday (Oct. 21) at 3 p.m. With a win, eSports will move on to play winner of #2 Kennesaw State/#7 USC Aiken later on that evening at 8 p.m.  

The Bearcats are the fifth seed in the Valorant bracket and will face #4 Missouri Western State on Friday (Oct. 21) at 12 noon. A win will place them in a second-round battle with #1 Converse at 6 p.m. 

The tournament will take place at the Florence Center. Tickets can be purchased HERE at a cost of $10 for one day, and $20 for both days. The games will also be stream available to stream on the Peach Belt's Twitch website. The Valorant stream is found HERE and the Rocket League stream can be found HERE.
