Women's Tennis Hosts Bearcat Invitational Starting Friday

Greenwood – The Lander Women's team is set to host the Bearcats Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.
 
STORYLINES
 
  • This will be the third tournament that the Bearcats will be competing in this Fall.
  • The Bearcats last showing included two tournament sweeps against Queens (N.C.) and Belmont Abbey at the Belmont Abbey Invitational, going 5-0 against both schools.
  • Out of 15 matches, the Bearcats only lost once at that same tournament, which was against Lees-McRae College.
  • The other three schools competing the next two days in Greenwood include Limestone, Erskine, and PBC opponent Young Harris.
  • The Bearcat Invitational starts at 10 a.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday.
