STORYLINES
- The Bearcats are coming off a 6-0 victory over USC Aiken on Wednesday.
- Four players scored for the Bearcats with Marco Gueli and Max McNulty leading the way with two goals each.
- Tom Marriott had one goal and three assists to give him the team lead in goals (9) and assist (5).
- Charlie Curtis scored a goal as well giving him goals in back-to-back games.
- Luke Jordan and Kevin Rubaszewski also contributed with assists.
- Both Marriott and McNulty are on multi-game goal streaks. Marriott has scored at least one goal in the last five games while McNulty has scored at least one goal in the last six games.
- Marriott leads the PBC in goals with nine while McNulty's seven is good for second.
- Lander also has three players in the top five for assists among the PBC. Marriott is currently tied for second with five while Gueli and Rubaszewski are tied for fourth with four.
- Lander currently leads the PBC in total goals with 23 so far this season. Young Harris is second with 19.
- The Bearcats now have two of the top-five ranked goal scorers in Marriott and McNulty. Marriott still leads Div. II in goals scored while McNulty moves into a tie for third.
- Marriott, Gueli and Rubaszewski are all in the top-15 in the nation for total assists. Marriott is tied for sixth while Gueli and Rubaszewski are tied for 15th.
- As a team, Lander ranks highly nationally as well. The Bearcats second in the nation for total goals scored (23), fifth in assists per game (3.29), sixth in goals per game (3.29), 13th in shots on goal per game (8.71), first in total assists (23), tied for second in total goals scored (23) and first in the nation for total points (69).
- In its last three games, Lander has outscored opponents 13-2.
- Both the Bearcats and Mountain Lions are averaging three or more goals per game. Lander averages a conference-high 3.286 while Young Harris averages 3.167.
- Although scoring an impressive number of goals, the Bearcats have allowed 11 goals this season. Young Harris has allowed the fewest goals in the PBC with just four.
