GREENWOOD – After falling to Anderson on the road in its most recent contest, the Lander men's soccer team will look to begin conference play on a high note with a trip to North Georgia on Wednesday.

STORYLINES
- Lander is coming off a 5-2 loss to Anderson on Sept. 11
- Max McNulty scored his third goal of the season while Tom Marriott added a goal and assist against the Trojans.
- Marriott leads Lander in goals with five and points with 11. McNulty is second in goals with three.
- Kevin Rubaszewski, Harry Bircumshaw and Max Bolton are all tied for the team-high in assists with two.
- The Bearcats are second in the PBC in goals scored with 10. No. 20 Young Harris is first with 12 this season. The Mountain Lions have also allowed a conference low three goals compared to the nine for Lander.
- Lander also trails Young Harris in assists. The Bearcats have recorded 10 compared to the 11 for YHC.
- North Georgia is coming into this contest 3-0-0 on the season.
- After losing an exhibition to Georgia Southern, the Nighthawks have defeated Erskine, Lee and Alabama-Huntsville.
- Two of North Georgia's wins have come by just one goal.
- Lander defeated North Georgia last season behind a hat trick from Bolton. Marco Gueli and Luke Jordan were the other two goal scorers for the Bearcats in that contest.
- Donovan Odier has been the main offensive threat for the Nighthawks. He's put away six of the nine goals scored this season. Odier has the team-high in points with 12 as well.
- Four players for North Georgia are tied for the team lead in assists with two each.
- The Bearcats conclude their non-conference schedule with a road trip to Erskine on September 18.
