STORYLINES

• The Bearcats won the three-game series against Augusta 2-1 after winning the first game 11-5 and the third game of the series 11-1.
• Of the six PBC series the Bearcats have played this season; they've won four of them.
• Lander will be going up against the top team in the PBC. UNC Pembroke is 12-3 in conference action and 16-5 overall.
• The Bearcats are currently in fifth place with a 10-7 conference record and a 14-8 overall record.
• Senior Ward Betts is tied for the most hits on the team so far this season. He is one of three players with 30 or more hits this season for Lander. Betts is also tied for first in doubles with six along with having one triple, two home runs, 18 RBI and seven stolen bases. Betts is currently leading the Bearcats in batting average with .393 and an on-base percentage with .490.
• Senior Roury Glanton and junior Mason Streater are the other two Bearcats to have over 30 hits. Glanton is tied with Betts for the most hits along with being tied with Betts and Streater for the most doubles. Glanton leads the Bearcats in triples with three and home runs with six on the season/ He also has a team-high 21 RBI.
• Streater is just two shy of the team-high for hits with 31. Along with his six doubles, he has four home runs and 17 RBI to go with his .369 batting average.
• Lander is currently fourth in the PBC in batting average with a team batting average of .297. The Bearcats are also fourth in the conference in hits with 213, third in doubles with 29, fourth in home runs with 23 and third in RBI with 157.
• With the mid-week series against Augusta, the Bearcats went with some new faces on the bump. One of those being redshirt junior Davis Agle who picked up a win in his first start of the season. Agle went five innings in the third game of the season where he allowed just one run on three hits while striking out seven. 
• The Bearcats are still led by grad student Marshall Thompson and his five-win on the season. He's made nine appearances and seven starts for 41 innings of work. He's struck out 55 batters this season and has an ERA of 3.73.
• Junior Carson Schlegel and grad student Justin Walker are the other two Bearcats to post multiple wins this season.
• The Braves are riding an eight-game winning streak that includes sweeps of Georgia College and Georgia Southwestern along with wins against Barton and Wingate.
• Trevor Clemons is leading the Braves in hits so far this season. He is one of three players for Pembroke with 30 or more hits. Gage Hammonds is leading the way in doubles with eight, Ethan Baucom has a team-high three home runs while Ryan Rivers is leading the way with 20 RBI.
• Bucky Bonynge is 5-1 this season with an ERA of 1.36. He's started seven games this season while going 39.2 innings of work. He's allowed just eight runs with six being earned and striking out a team-high 50. Batters are just hitting .194 against him.
• Lander travels to face North Greenville at Fluor Field next Tuesday for its next game.
