STORYLINES
· The Bearcats are coming off an 84-74 win at Young Harris on Monday. The Blue and Gold had been on hiatus since losing to Augusta on January 20.
· Lander hit 11 3-pointers against the Mountain Lions, good for the third-most this season. Lander's high in 3-pointers made was set at 17 against Young Harris on January 4 at Horne Arena.
· Redshirt junior Zane Rankin sunk nine of those 11 3-pointers, as the sharpshooter finished with a team-high 24 points.
· Juniors Jared Sherfield and Jermaine Patterson and senior DaJuan Moorer joined Rankin in double figure scoring. Sherfield had 15, Patterson had 13 and Moorer had 10.
· The Bearcats now hold the second highest-scoring offense in the PBC with an average of 77.8 points scored per game. The Blue and Gold are also in the top half in scoring margin with a +2.1 margin.
· Lander is hitting 9.3 3-pointers per game, good for the second-highest percentage in the PBC.
· Patterson maintains his hold as one of the PBC's premier scorers, staying in the top-10 with 14.5 points per game to his name. He is also second in the PBC in free throw percentage at .919 and ninth in assists with 3.4 per game.
· Moorer is in the top-10 among PBC players for rebounds with 7.8, good for a share of seventh.
· The Pacers are coming into this matchup on a three-game losing streak, most recently falling to Georgia Southwestern 79-76 in overtime on February 6. Before that, they were winners of four in a row.
· Lander and USC Aiken have played twice so far this season, with the previous two meetings being non-conference affairs. Each side has gotten the better of each other, with the season series tied 1-1.
