HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Lander women's golf team finished in 10^th place at the 2021 Battle at Hilton Head.

Carson Newman won after shooting 53-over-par for the tournament. Lander shot a team score of 90-over-par for the tournament.

Junior Hannah Stephenson led the way for the Bearcats with a 17-over-par tournament to finished tied for 20th. Junior Caroline Hardee and sophomore Chloe Hiott both shot 23-over-par and tied for 37^th place. Freshman Caitlyn Cash shot 28-over-par and finished tied for 50^th place while freshman Ella Nilsson shot 32-over-par and was tied for 59^th place.

Lander competes in the Low Tide Intercollegiate on March 1 next.
