GREENWOOD – In just its third year as a program, the Lander wrestling team has been ranked first in the most recent NCAA Super Region II rankings.
The Bearcats are followed by UNC Pembroke and Coker.
Lander also saw nine wrestlers ranked in the top-five in their respective weight class.
After taking part in the Midwest Classic earlier in December, the Bearcats hit the road to face Truett McConnell on January 12 for their next test.
