STORYLINES
- The Bearcats are coming off an overtime defeat to Anderson on the road, losing 76-71.
- Deandre Robinson led the Bearcats in scoring with 16 points. Martin Vogts, Jared Sherfield and Dominic Stanford joined Robinson in double-figures.
- Lander held an 11-point lead after the first half but allowed the Trojans to score 34 points, while Lander put up 23 points in the second half.
- Lander began the year against Southern Wesleyan, losing 83-78 on November 12.
- The last time Lander began a season 0-2 was the 2009-10 season when it lost to Anderson and Wingate to begin the season.
- Robinson leads the Bearcats in scoring early in the season with 17 points per game. Nigel Colvin is second so far with 14.0 points per game.
