GREENWOOD, S.C. - After having a nine-day layoff from their last match, Lander returns to action this weekend in the PBC/SAC Crossover hosted by USC-Aiken. The Bearcats will take on Carson-Newman and Lincoln Memorial on Friday.

STORYLINES
- The Bearcats have not played since they lost to USC-Aiken 3-1 on October 13th.
- Christina Aguayo led Lander with 13 kills, while Daria De Carvalho Peixe added 10. Patricia Pantoja recorded 22 digs, and Madilyn Reed had a game-high 30 assists.
- Aguayo leads the PBC and is seventh in Division II in attacks per set (12.08). She is also second in the conference in total kills (256), kills per set (4.13), and points per set (4.69).
- De Carvalho is second in the PBC in hitting percentage (0.304), while Reed is second in service aces (27), and third in the conference in assists per set (9.11) and aces per set (.44)
- The Bearcats are currently second in the Peach Belt in aces per set (2.13) and third in assists per set (11.4), attacks per set (35.79), and service aces (132).
- Carson-Newman defeated Lenoir-Rhyne 3-0 on Tuesday, while Lincoln Memorial lost 3-0 to Newberry last Saturday.
