GREENWOOD, S.C. - In a game where shots were hard to come by, North Georgia scored one goal in the first half and one in the second half to take a 2-0 victory over Lander Wednesday night.
With the score tied at zero, Megan Dumond scored in the 14th minute to put North Georgia on the board. The Nighthawks would add another goal in the 62nd minute to extend their lead. Lander had a great chance to get on hte board, but a shot by Emma Sexton was saved by the North Georgia keeper to keep the Bearcats scoreless.
