STORYLINES
· The Bearcats are coming off a 91-73 victory over Clayton State that saw four Bearcats post 18 or more points.
· Lander was led by senior Deon Berrien's 21 points. He also posted his second consecutive double-double with 11 rebounds against the Lakers. Senior DaJuan Moorer joined Berrien with a second straight double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Moorer also had one assist, steal and block. Senior Jermaine Patterson and freshman Sebastian Augustave both had 18 points, with Patterson also posting six rebounds and six assists.
· The Bearcats have had at least three player score in double figures every game this season.
· Lander shot 33-of-68 (.485) from the field against Clayton State and was 20-for-22 (.909) from the free-throw line. Clayton State was held to 25-of-70 (.357) from the field.
· The Bearcats are in the top-50 in assists per game with 16.6 (20th), block per game with 4.0 (t-17th), defensive rebounds per game with 28.83 (25th), rebound margin with +7 (19th), total assists with 98 (30th), total blocks with 25 (t-15th), total rebounds with 236 (37th) and total rebounds per game with 39.33 (27th).
· Five Bearcats are featured in the top-10 for multiple categories among the Peach Belt Conference. Patterson is featured for scoring average (8th), free-throw percentage (5th) total assists (t-1st), assists per game (7th) and assist-turnover ratio (t-9th). Moorer is among the top-10 for total rebounds (2nd), rebounds per game (8.0), total blocks (1st) and blocks per game (t-1st). Berrien is in the top-10 in total rebounds (4th), rebounds per game (4th), total assists (t-7th) and total blocks (2nd). Augustave is featured for 3pt field-goal percentage (4th) and 3-pointer made per game (6th). Senior LaRaymond Spivery is also featured in total assists (t-7th).
· Moorer is currently tied for third in the nation with his 12 blocks so far this season. He's also tied for 11 in blocks per game with 2.0.
· Lander went 2-0 against the Patriots last season. The Bearcats won 100-80 at Francis Marion on January 11 while winning 83-76 at home on February 22. Berrien had 21 points, 10 rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist to help lead the Bearcats to their home victory.
· The Bearcats are averaging 77.5 points per game through their first six games of the season. Lander is also shooting 46.7 percent for the field and 35.2 percent from 3-point range this season.
· The Blue and Yellow are also outrebounding their opponents by a margin of +7.2.
· Francis Marion is 1-1 overall and in conference after losing to Georgia College in its season opener 78-66 before defeating Georgia Southwestern 88-74.

· Francis Marion is without its top-six leading scorers from last year, as Alex Cox takes the mantle of returning scorer after scoring 6.9 points per game last season.
