GREENWOOD – Lander acrobatics and tumbling will join Conference Carolinas as an associate member for the 2021 season, the league announced on Wednesday. 

Lander brings the total number of acrobatics and tumbling teams in Conference Carolinas to nine. The league also announced the addition of Limestone on Wednesday. The Bearcats and Saints will join Belmont Abbey, Chowan, Coker, Converse, Emmanuel, Erskine, and King

"We're excited to have our acrobatics and tumbling program joining Conference Carolinas," Lander athletics director Brian Reese said. "This partnership puts us in a great geographic footprint and we look forward to competing in a great league." 

Lander will begin competition during the 2020-21 academic year under head coach Sarah DiSpaltro.
