GREENWOOD – The Lander women's golf team is set to host the Savannah Lakes Fall Invitational to close out the fall portion of its schedule.

STORYLINES

• The Bearcats are coming off a sixth-place finish at the Flagler Fall Slam.
• Hannah Stephenson finished tied for sixth overall with an eight-over-par tournament. She was also named the PBC Golfer of the Week with that performance.
• The Bearcats have two golfers in the top-10 for strokes per round average. Stephenson is fifth with a 75 average while freshman Ella Nilsson is sixth with a 75.3 average.
• Along with Lander, Southern Wesleyan, Anderson, St. Andrews, Emmanuel (Ga.), Flagler, UNC Pembroke, Lincoln Memorial, Newberry and Limestone will all be competing.
• The tournament is being held at the Monticello Golf Course. It is a par-72 and stretches roughly 5,820 yards.
