GREENWOOD – The Lander women's golf team held steady on Tuesday to finish fifth at the Bearcat Invitational at the par-72, 5,832-yard course at The Links at Stoney Point.

SCAD claimed the tournament title with a 38-over 614. Limestone finished one stroke back for second place, while Young Harris tallied a 55-over 631 for third place.

Paula Sofia Suarez of SCAD earned medalist honors with a 3-over 147. 

Hannah Fesperman led the Bearcats with a 10-over 154, finishing in a tie for seventh. Caroline Hardee and Hannah Stephenson both tied for 18th by posting a 17-over 161. Madison Jordan tied for 33rd with a 21-over 165 and Grace Zoller shot a 38-over 182 to finish 65th. Playing as an individual, Caroline Jenkins finished 69th with a 56-over 200.
