Lander returns to PBC Championship for first time since 2015

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Lander women's golf team will look to capture its second conference title this weekend when it begins play at the Peach Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship at the Slammer & Squire Course in St. Augustine, Fla.

STORYLINES:

• The Bearcats will tee off at 8:20 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and will be grouped with North Georgia and Young Harris. 

• Lander's lineup will consist of sophomore Hannah Fesperman and freshmen Caroline HardeeMadison JordanHannah Stephenson, and Grace Zoller

• Fesperman owns the Bearcats' lowest stroke average at 80.3. 

• Lander won the 2013 championship, the school's only PBC title in golf. 

• Lander has three top-five finishes on the season. 

• The Bearcats finished 16th at the Flagler Fall Slam in St. Augustine last October. 

• The tournament will consist of 54 holes with 18 being played on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the par-72, 6,049-yard course.
