GREENWOOD – The Lander women's golf team will host the Bearcat Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, at the par-72, 5,832-yard course at The Links at Stoney Point. 

STORYLINES:

• Lander has three top-10 finishes this season, including a third-place finish at the Cutter Creek Invitational and a fourth-place finish at the Low Country Invitational. 

• The 36-hole event will feature 18 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Lander will be paired with Young Harris and Limestone on Monday and will tee off at 9:50 a.m.

• The Bearcats are coming off a 16th-place finish at the Terrier Intercollegiate back on Mar. 17. 

• The field of 12 teams includes the Bearcats, Belmont Abbey, Converse, Eckerd, Erskine, Lenoir-Rhyne, Limestone, Lincoln Memorial, LIU Brooklyn, Newberry, SCAD, and Young Harris. 

• Caroline Hardee and Hannah Stephenson have each tied for first at an event this season. 

• Hannah Fesperman finished in a tie for 61st at the Terrier Intercollegiate.

• Fesperman leads the Bearcats with an 80.77 stroke average.
