Women's golf moves to 17th to conclude World Golf Invitational

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Lander women's golf team wrapped up the World Golf Invitational in 17th-place, shooting a 322 on the final day at the par-72, 6,049-yard Slammer & Squire Course at the World Golf Village.

Hannah Fesperman and Hannah Stephenson both shot eight-over par 80s on the final day, while Caroline Hardee and Grace Zoller fired nine-over 81s. Madison Jordan recorded a 10-over 82 in the final round. Fesperman tied for 53rd, while Stephenson finished 74th. Hardee tied for 75th, Zoller ended the event in a tie for 80th, and Jordan finished tied for 93rd. 

Nova Southeastern won the event, finishing at three-over, 23 shots ahead of Tampa  

Lander competes in the Converse Spring Invite in Spartanburg, S.C., on Feb. 18-19.
