FLORENCE, S.C. – The Lander men's basketball team fell to Francis Marion 90-56 in Peach Belt Conference action on Wednesday night.

Elijah Alston and Sidney Robinson led the Bearcats (9-14, 8-9 PBC) with nine points each. Francis Marion (17-4, 13-3 PBC) forced 23 Bearcat turnoveres on the night. 

Justin Holliday came off the bench to score eight points and collect a team-high eight rebounds for Lander. Morris Robinson Jr., finished with three assists. The Bearcats attempted a season-low 10 free throws on the night, making just three.

Lander will face the second game of its three-game road trip on Saturday afternoon against Columbus State.
