GREENWOOD – The Lander women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 decision at the hands of North Georgia on Tuesday afternoon at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.
Lander (4-9, 1-7 PBC) fought hard at the No. 1 doubles spot, falling to the No. 12 pairing in the nation, 8-5, but could not steal a point away from the Nighthawks (9-3, 5-0 PBC), who remained unbeaten in Peach Belt Conference play.
The Bearcats step out of conference action on Monday afternoon as they travel to Limestone for a 3:00 p.m. match.
