GREENWOOD – The Lander women's tennis team fell on the road at Francis Marion on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Patriots, 7-2. 

Lander (4-4, 1-2 PBC) earned a point at No. 3 singles and No. 3 doubles, but the Patriots were too much as Francis Marion (6-3, 1-2 PBC) picked up its first conference win of the season.

The Bearcats are back on the road Tuesday as Lander faces Young Harris at 2:00 p.m.
