PEMBROKE, N.C. – The Lander men's basketball team (7-12, 3-10 PBC) is back on the road Tuesday night as the Bearcats travel to North Carolina to take on UNC Pembroke (15-4, 11-2 PBC) for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.

STORYLINES
• Lander is looking to snap out a recent skid, dropping five of its last six games.
• The Bearcats were in victorious in their last Peach Belt Conference road game in a 110-106 victory over North Georgia, their first road conference win of the season
• Junior guard Jordan Dingle is hitting his stride, averaging 19.5 points per game in the last two games for the Bearcats, bringing his season average up to 10.1.
• UNC Pembroke pulled away from Lander late for an 81-78 win in the first meeting of the season back on Jan. 3.
• Freshman Zane Rankin had one of his best games of the season in his first-ever outing against the Braves, scoring 18 points while adding three rebounds and two assists.
• Lander last win in Pembroke came on Dec. 5, 2015, as the Bearcats took down UNCP 62-59.
• The trip to Pembroke opens up a two-game road stretch for Lander. The Bearcats face Flagler on the road on Feb. 3.
