GREENWOOD - The Lander women's tennis team posted its second shutout of the season Friday after defeating Mount Olive, 9-0, in a non-conference match at The Joe Cabri Tennis Center.

Lander improves to 4-3 overall, while Mount Olive drops to 2-5.

Mariana Gamboa (MO) 6-0, 6-1; No. 4 Caroline Yodice (L) def. Nicole La Chappelle (MO) 6-0, 6-0; No. 5 Renata Mello (L) def. Jennifer Byrd (MO) 6-0, 6-0; and No. 6 Lauren French (L) def. Emma Burroughs (MO) 6-0, 6-1.
