GREENWOOD - The No. 41-ranked Francis Marion women's team won two of three doubles matches and five of six singles Saturday afternoon to claim a 7-2 Peach Belt Conference victory over Lander at The Joe Cabri Tennis Center.

FMU improves to 7-2 overall and 1-1 in the PBC, while Lander moves to 3-3, 1-3.

In singles, No. 1 Marie Krueger (FMU) def. Yuriko Ono (L) 6-2, 6-0; No. 2 Samantha Koelliker (FMU) def. Ivanka Mocic (L) 6-2, 6-0; No. 3 Eva Lieben (FMU) def. Anni Poikola (L) 6-3, 6-2; No. 4 Sofia Henning (FMU) def. Caroline Yodice (L) 7-6, 6-1; No. 5 Anna Wintrich (FMU) def. Renata Mello (L) 6-1, 6-3; and No. 6 Lauren French (L) def. Kristel Kalm (FMU) 6-2, 6-2.
