GREENWOOD - Freshman Anni Poikola came through with the match-winning point Monday when she won her No. 3 singles match after a weather delay and led the No. 29 Lander women's tennis team to a 5-4 Peach Belt Conference victory against No. 48 GRU Augusta at The Joe Cabri Tennis Center.
Lander, which rallied from a 3-0 deficit after doubles play, improves to 8-7 overall and 5-6 in the PBC. GRU Augusta slips to 15-5, 8-5.
