GREENWOOD – Lander's Kyle Boraski, who tossed a no-hitter last Saturday against Young Harris College, was named the Peach Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week it was announced today by the PBC office today.

Boraski, a junior from Fuquay Varina, N.C., threw the third no-hitter in Lander baseball history in a 10-0 decision over Young Harris. He walked two and struck out eight and only three Mountain Lions reached base at all as he ended up facing two batters over the minimum. He sat down the first nine batters he faced in order.

Boraski's no-hitter is the 22nd in PBC history, the first this season, and only the fifth in a conference game. For the season, he is seventh in the PBC in ERA.
