AUGUSTA, Ga. - Halle Dotson tallied 13 kills and Ali Kirk posted a double-double Friday evening to lead the Lander volleyball team to a 3-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over Augusta University at Christenberry Fieldhouse. Game scores were: 25-19, 27-25, 25-21.

Lander, which improves to 19-8 overall and 7-4 in the PBC, gets revenge on the Jaguars, who defeated the Bearcats, 3-2, on Sept. 26 at Horne Arena. Augusta slips to 13-8, 5-6. Lander head coach Ashley Stathas is now just three wins shy of her 100th career victory

Dotson only committed one error and had a .500 hitting percentage to go along with six block assists, while Kirk added 15 assists and 10 digs, Sophia Perkins chipped in 13 assists, Mallory Taylor 29 digs, Tarryn Angermeier nine blocks, and Reyonia Whipple six blocks.

The Jaguars were led by Kali Boatwright (13 kills, 15 digs), Kailla Baptiste (12 kills), Sadie Thurston (36 assists, 13 digs). and Cat DeSilvester (15 digs).

Lander travels to Georgia College Saturday for a 2 o'clock PBC match in the Centennial Center.
