MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - Led by Mariana Martins first-place round, the No. 22 Lander women's golf team is in second place of four teams Monday after the first round of the two-day, two-round Mount Olive Invitational.

Martins shot a 1-over-par 73, while Michelle Reyes is tied for third at 75, Valentina Bueno is 12th at 78, and Rachel Uremovich is tied for 13th at 80.

Limestone leads the team competition with a low 13-over-par 301, while Lander is second at 306, Barton third at 318, and Mount Olive fourth at 319.
