SAVANNAH, Ga. – Lander's Ty'Hesha Reynolds scored a game-high 26 points Monday night to lead the Lander women's basketball team in a 72-69 Peach Belt Conference loss at Armstrong Atlantic.

Armstrong improves to 17-6 overall and 12-5 in the PBC, while Lander moves to 10-14, 5-10.

Reynolds connected on 10-of-22 field goals and 4-of-7 free throws, while Kayla West added 20 points and Alexis Armstrong 12. Zaneta Kubicka led the team in rebounds with eight, while Portia McCray grabbed seven.

Brigitta Barta led Armstrong with 21 points, while Bryonna Davis added 18 points, and Amber Howell 11 points and eight rebounds.

Lander made 23-of-54 field goals (42.6 percent), including 4-of-15 threes (26.7 percent), and 19-of-27 free throws.

The Lady Pirates connected 25-of-60 field goals (41.7 percent), including 6-of-12 three pointers (50 percent), and 16-of-19 foul shots (84.2 percent).

The teams were tied 35-all at halftime and both teams had 37 rebounds.
