GREENWOOD - The UNC Pembroke women's soccer team got goals from three different players Wednesday night as the Lady Braves claimed a 3-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over Lander at Van Taylor Stadium.

UNCP improves to 7-3-1 overall and 4-2-0 in the PBC, while Lander slips to 4-1-3, 2-1-2.

Courtney Crump gave the Braves a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick at 11:48.

UNCP made it 2-0 at 62:29 when Kate Watkins found the back of the net from in front of the goal off a Savanna Stiles corner kick.

Lovisa Gustafsson scored the game's final goal when she popped in Rae-Shawna Campbell's missed shot.

Lander goalkeeper Katie Lyle had five saves.

UNCP outshot Lander, 15-5, but the Bearcats led in corner kicks, 7-6.

Lander next travels to PBC rival Clayton State for a 5 p.m. game on Saturday, Oct. 11.
