AUGUSTA, Ga. – Hannah Dederick and Tarryn Angermeier combined for 25 kills, while Jessica Register added a double-double to pace the Lander volleyball team to a 3-1 Peach Belt Conference victory over GRU Augusta Saturday at Christenberry Fieldhouse. Game scores were: 25-22, 22-25, 25-15, 25-15.

Lander improves to 11-3 overall and 3-2 in the PBC, while Augusta slips to 1-10, 0-5.

Dederick led at the net with 14 kills, followed by Angermeier with 11. Register had 39 assists and 15 digs, while Sarah Bradley added 20 digs. Dederick and Angermeier also had seven and six blocks respectively.

Augusta was led by Kristen Koch (19 kills, 10 digs), Paige Tuttle (11 kills), Kailla Baptiste (10 kills, 10 digs), Chandler Mass (48 assists) and Maggie Darling (27 digs).

Lander will next travel to Converse College for a non-conference match at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1.
