GREENWOOD – The Georgia College women's tennis team defeated Lander, 5-2, Sunday in a Peach Belt Conference match at The Joe Cabri Tennis Center.

Georgia College improves to 13-9 overall and 7-6 in the PBC, while Lander moves to 8-8, 4-7. The match was called as soon as Georgia College reached enough points for the win.

Ainhoa Rico Martin (L) 6-2, 6-2; No. 4 Katie Krupp (GC) def. Tiffany Vanhpraseuth (L) 6-3, 6-3; No. 5 Cayce Bradley (L) vs. Michelle Lingner (GC) unfinished; and No. 6 Aurelia Ruffat (L) def. Sarah Murray (GC) 6-0, 6-0.
