MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Clement Dauchy's second goal proved to be the deciding score as he led the Lander men's soccer team to a 3-2 Peach Belt Conference overtime victory over the University of Montevallo Saturday evening.

Lander improves to 7-1 overall and 3-0 in the PBC, while Montevallo falls to 6-3, 3-1.

Dauchy gave Lander a 1-0 lead at 10:00 off a corner kick from Kevin Durand.

Montevallo bounced back and tied the game at 1-1 at 44:38 on Thomas Davis' unassisted goal.

The Falcons then took a 2-1 advantage when Mike Rinzema fired in a goal off a Ricky Davey assist.

Durand forced the overtime at 84:45 on an assist from Matthew Bell.

Dauchy's game winner came at 106:50 off a pass from Robert Seaton.

Montevallo outshot Lander, 17-14, and led in corner kicks, 9-6.

Both Lander goalkeeper Barrett Nielsen and the Falcons' Brendan Ledgeway had two saves each.
