YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - The Lander women's tennis team won two of three doubles matches, but claimed only one singles as they dropped a 5-3 decision to Young Harris College in a non-conference match Tuesday afternoon.
Young Harris improves to 5-3, while Lander slips to 3-2.
In doubles, No. 1 Jane Plevako/Charlotte Dawson (YHC) def. Aurela Ruffat/Caitlin Fell (LU), 8-1; No. 2 Brandi Cordell/Cayce Bradley (LU) def. Katie Bryant/Charlotte Moreau (YHC), 8-2; and No. 3 Eliza Adusumilli/Raissa Adusumilli (LU) def. Lina Parra Pava/Stormy Dvorak (YHC), 9-8 (7-3).
