GREENWOOD - Mary Elizabeth Land, the director of the Abbeville County Library System, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch this evening in Lander's non-conference baseball game against Erskine College at Legion Field. The first pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Land, who is also an English professor, is a member of the Abbeville Rotary Club, the Abbeville Opera House and the Abbeville Woman's Club.
