MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The No. 30-ranked Georgia College & State University women's tennis team claimed a 6-3 Peach Belt Conference victory over No. 32 Lander Wednesday afternoon in the regular-season finale for both teams.

GCSU improves to 11-10 overall and 6-6 in the PBC, while Lander falls to 12-9, 5-7.

Caitlin Fell (L), 6-1, 6-0; No. 4. Eliza Adusumilli (L) def. Michelle Lingner (GCSU), 6-1, 6-3; No. 5 Linda Mosa (GCSU) def. Nicola James (L), 6-4, 3-6, 10-4; and No. 6 Melanise Newbold (L) def. Adriana Acuna (GCSU), 6-4, 6-3.

In doubles, No.1 Danna/Lion (GCSU) def. Ruffat/Zaia (L), 8-0; No. 2 Barksdale/Lingner (GCSU) def. Adusumilli/Cordell (L), 8-4; and No. 3 Mosa/Acuna (GCSU) def. Fell/James (L), 8-5.
