GREENWOOD - Jamie Shaw scored the lone goal of the game Saturday afternoon to lead the Lander women's soccer team to a 1-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over Flagler College.

Lander improves to 7-5 overall and 2-4 in the PBC, while Flagler slips to 4-6-1, 2-3-0.

Shaw's goal came at 40:06 on an assist from Rachel Datz.

Lander outshot Flagler, 9-6, and both teams had five corner kicks.

Flagler goalkeeper Cristina Coca recorded five saves, while Lander's Chelsea Beetch had four.

The Lady Bearcats next play at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13 at USC Aiken in a PBC contest.
